Do Not Remove

Type

Painting

Year

2026

Materials

Mixed media, paper and staples on reclaimed Soviet-era cotton fabric (biazi)

Dimensions

25.3 × 29.3 cm

Broad grey strokes obscure a rectangular paper field, leaving fragments of lettering and coloured lines partially visible. Above it, staples retain small pieces of a torn-away sheet. The upside-down instruction “DO NOT REMOVE” remains at the lower edge, in tension with the physical evidence of removal.
