What Remains of Gesture

A virtual exhibition project presented by Gallery 1995.

Children’s drawings encounter reclaimed Soviet-era cotton fabric in an investigation of gesture, inherited structures and material memory. Layers of paint conceal, interrupt and transform marks while leaving traces of their earlier presence.

The project brings large-scale paintings, a diptych and smaller works into a virtual exhibition sequence. Spatial views are virtual installation visualizations rather than documentation of a physical exhibition.
